Spectrum Business Story

TV Spot & Social

ROLE: Concept, Art Direction, Content Creation

THE ASK: Create a series of testimonial videos showcasing real business owners and how Spectrum Business helped streamline and support their day-to-day operations.

THE CHALLENGE: Every small business has a unique story, and the role of internet can often feel invisible behind the scenes. We needed to show Spectrum’s impact in a way that felt authentic—not just by highlighting features, but by demonstrating how reliable connectivity helps business owners bring their passions to life every day.

SOLUTION: To highlight Spectrum’s real commitment to small business, we let real customers share their stories. We visited 4 businesses in South Carolina, North Carolina and Texas to create heartfelt vignettes that highlight how internet is the backbone of their business.

TV Spots

We traveled across the United States to highlight small businesses and have them tell the story from their humble beginnings, journey and success and of course, how Spectrum was a reliable tool for them to get there.
And tell us their Spectrum Business Story.

Back of Video Shoot

Shooting while everything else is shooting. It was hectic, but somehow we made magic happen.
Back-of-video moves quick, but the business owners we met slowed us down just enough to appreciate the heart of the project. Their passion definitely made the whole day feel more meaningful.

Social Media

Another shoot on top of a shoot, on top of a shoot.

The clients were considering posting some content on their social media. With limited time on a travel shoot and on top of doing a back-of-video photoshoot we still managed to film social content in between shots. Concepted and made in just 2 weeks time on top of traveling and shooting 4 TV spots in a different state.

No Nonsense

DRTV

ROLE: Art Direction, Design

THE ASK: Create a DRTV spot that clearly communicates Spectrum's reliability, positioning it as one of the nation's most dependable internet providers in a simple, easy-to-understand way.

PROBLEM: The client wanted to continue the TED Talk-style approach from the previous campaign while keeping the message simple and direct. The challenge was to communicate the benefits of Spectrum Business through an expert-led narrative without overshadowing the message with overly creative execution.

SOLUTION: We went big--bigger, bluer and No Nonsensier.

Our No Nonsense Small Business Expert found himself on a grander stage with larger screens and an eye-catching lighting design that emphasized this thrilling new release: small business owners could now talk, text, video conference, message, and more seamlessly from one incredible app. And of course, they could still get the fastest internet speeds in the nation accompanied by the signature Spectrum Business No Nonsense.

We created two hero 30-second TV spots, one highlighting Spectrum Business Connect and the other centered around Spectrum Business Internet being the fastest in the nation. We also created a 60-second DRTV spot that merged everything together. And made SEVERAL versions of each of them. Different price points, legal and phone numbers.

And we did it all from brief to broadcast in just 4 months. Now that's No Nonsense.
